The St. Mauritius church is the spiritual centre of the parish Altenmedingen. The villages Altenmedingen, Eddelstorf, Reisenmoor, Aljarn, Bohndorf, Haaßel, and Bostelwiebeck are part of the parish too. Around 1100 Protestant community members live in the parish. The church is an impressive eye-catcher and forms the villagescape. The acoustic and the friendly interior invite visitors to meditate and pause.
